FROM vision to reality,
I transform your landscape into a thriving, sustainable property.
As an architect, landscape designer, and hospitality consultant, I've witnessed a seismic shift in the post-pandemic world. Remote work has liberated professionals from urban confines, leading them to sprawling countryside properties. Suddenly, they find themselves with vast gardens and a budding passion for green spaces.
But questions arise:
How to manage this newfound abundance?
Is expanding staff the answer?
Should they monetize their harvests?
Inspired by countless inquiries from these newfound rural dwellers, I crafted solutions to meet their unique needs:
Y.G.M. Service: Tailored support for your green ambitions
M.F.A. Membership: A community for like-minded property innovators
W.I.L.D. emerged as the bridge between urban expertise and rural potential, helping visionaries transform their spaces without overextending their resources.
Before I forget, an Introduction:
My name is Ian Dommisse.
I am an architect and a passionate landscape designer. My biggest project to date is the Angama Mara edible food experiential garden in Kenya, an integral design feature of the prestigious Luxury Safari Lodge.
Locally I designed the “Octopus Garden” at the Waterfront, a great example of garden design led by permaculture principles. I have also worked on numerous residential gardens where the client’s needs, architecture and site surroundings are at the heart of my design process.
The other ‘hat’ that I wear is the role of project manager of Grow SA, an organization formed during the pandemic to boost the green economy through skills and human development.
I gather inspiration from nature and often find beauty in plants and flowers that are often unnoticed.
